Office Floor 12

After decades of accumulating layers of materials and finishes, the interiors at 21 Dundas Square became lacklustre spaces. These layers were removed to reveal a heightened ceiling and expansive floor space, exposing and expressing the building’s raw textures.

The interior renovation included upgrades to building heating, plumbing, electrical and fire safety systems. Many of these systems were installed preceding the renewed office tenancies, and were threaded through existing occupied spaces, anticipating new, sustainable, and adaptable office layouts.

One of Toronto’s earliest concrete structures, this 1929 heritage building is reimagined with refreshed spaces and renewed amenities, as it awaits new occupancies.
